This November Proposition 19, also known as the Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010 will be featured on the California ballot. Interestingly, over half of California favors the legalization of marijuana. If approved, it would allow local governments to regulate marijuana-related fees and taxes. Of course the advocates of Prop 19 have their work cut out for them when it comes to convincing soccer moms and right-wingers to the recreational use of marijuana is the way to go.

Nonetheless, with the bill only needing a simple majority for it to pass, it seems we'll witness history on November 2nd.
