A few Curls please..
Watched by many and understood by very few(including ourselves) curling (and Shani Davis) has been one of the few reasons to partake in the winter athletic competitions known as the olympics and it has certainly kept us up @ the wee hours of the morning trying to comprehend why grown men and women from every corner of the world risk life and limb to slide smooth rocks into a bullseye..however confusing it is curling is a strangely interesting sport to watch..here a few "high action" shots and a explaination of the game found here..you can thank us later. -LK

Nike..Just Does It.
Human Chain from NikeSportswear on Vimeo.
Again Nike blesses us with another thought provoking short commercial ad that leaves us with chills and the overwhelming feeling to conquer our greatest ambitions..."Everybody gets knocked down, How quick are you gonna get up?" -LK

From V-Day to P-Day
As we consume the last of our candied message hearts and pay homage to the Lincoln's, Eisenhower's, Kennedy's & Truman's..we would certainly like to thank all who supported and contributed to our Love Kit campaign which we must say was a certain success and as a result we will be extending the sale of the Love Kit until the 28th of Feb.....please pardon us as we 'ride the wave' of humanitarism but we spoke a few weeks back of our plans to create a bracelet for our Haiti project and we are certainly still on track to do this and in the coming weeks we shall post a few pictorials of our latest concoction...with the absence of Anderson Cooper and the rest of the major network cameras, the people of Haiti are still despartely in need of addtional assistance and hopefully we can do our part to make this happen..stay tuned & happy weekend from LifE KiT.

As we promised..the Preview to the Preview to the Preview.
Our blog posts and social presence has been a little slack as of late..do excuse us as we are doing our best to put the finishing touches on our latest project as well as a few new ones we're sure our supporters will certainly appreciate..one of these projects we will be releasing a lot sooner than we expected due to the anticipation being a lot greater than we expected, which is certainly one of those 'good problems'..so we bless you with a few sneaks of our latest creation..the Love Kit..of course explaining it now would be nice but we're all about creating the suspense factor and setting the mood :)..-LK

Greener Grass
Just as you want your grass to be greener you want your life to be better. The mistake is that we often look to what others have to define what we want in life. We lose sight of our INDIVIDUAL purpose, which is to keep your own grass clean & follow your own dreams. Want your grass to be greener? Change your habits. Change your routine. Change your Environment. Be meticulous in what you do and the choices you make. Plant seeds with Love and water them daily with Knowledge. It won’t be easy, but it never is. -LK

Ill Gil
The latest from activist/poet/renaissance man Gil Scott Heron..although the title may be a little controversial for some we @ Life KiT respect every avenue of expression. And this my friends is an artistic smorgasbord, Gil has been on the scene for decades providing us with the messages we need to combat the everyday propaganda process. We can almost say that this is what you can expect from future LK short films, a hint of mysteriousness and a splatter of undeniable genius. This video (not yet understood by myself) is filled with beautiful camera work and even better artistry feel free to indulge and pass along. LK

Growing Pains.
I asked a friend of mine to elaborate on her BBM status which read “Its Time to let go.” Many of us are at a pivotal time in our lives where we need to let go of something and move forward. A choice needs to be made in order for us to grow.
Often times people in your past and even in the present may prevent your growth. Don’t be afraid to distance yourself from these people for your own personal benefit. Go with your Gut. People often respect you when you tell them, “Hey, I’m Improving me.” -LK

7even Days
Im quite certain we've all seen the 'round the clock' local and international news coverage about Haitis' most recent 'natural' catastrophe, and some would argue your just about heartless if you haven't been complelled to give, in some form or fashion. There are countless charities floating about offering assistance in many different ways but not all are a good bet, it's best to check your sources before you attempt to unlock your inner philanthropist..we've provided a few safe ones for you:
DONATE HERE: RED CROSS
DONATE HERE: UNICEF
DONATE HERE: YELE
DONATIONS CAN ALSO BE MADE VIA TEXT @ THE RED CROSS "90999" A ONE-TIME DONATION OF $10 WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR PHONE BILL.
It's almost impossible to believe that after 7 days and counting people are still being pulled from the mangled debris battered, brusied and barely living..but living indeed..let us not pass up this opportunity to make a difference just as we should never pass up any opportunity to make a difference. Certainly Life KiT is in the lab as we speak conjuring up a relief package that you yourself might play a part in..stay tuned. -LK
