Law 1 ~ “Stay Humble...Stay Hungry”

Of course we never claim to have all the answers or pretend to be some self-help “Guru.” We just share our KNOWLEDGE and pray that it motivates you to MOVE FORWARD. With that said… Humility is an absolute necessity, but isn’t easy. It can be accomplished by letting your talent speak for itself. Remember the Loudest one in the room is often the Weakest one in the room. Your appetite for success is never satisfied. It’s OK to celebrate victories along the way, but these celebrations are like too many cookies before dinner….ruining your appetite for the main course.

Live. Love. Enjoy.

While we spent the majority of our day laughing at our friends who chose to partake in their ahem.. "holiday"..instead of studying for our upcoming grad finals we did manage to sneak a few pictorials away from the LK Lab of some newness we have planned for our upcoming site release, although we'll only provide you with a few sneaks we'll save the elaborate descriptions for our actual drop date drawing ever so close...Stay Tuned. -LK

The Possible of New..

(Click the Pic for Larger View)

We were in the midst of one of our unproductive moments and managed to find a bit of inspiration in the form of a crisply unused passport, unfortunately only one of our foundership has managed to escape the lovely states we call home but in due time I'm certain the rest of us will soon find our international thirst quenched...but for now we can only DREAM..located in the passport we found the following quote

"For this is what America is all about.  It is the uncrossed desert and the unclimbed ridge.  It is the star that is not reached and the harvest sleeping in the unplowed ground.  Is our world gone? We say "Farewell." Is a new world coming? We welcome it -- and we will bend it to the hopes of Man."  -L.B. Johnson

We found this gem to be a spark in our journey to provide the anti-Normal and a little motivation for those taking the road less traveled. -LK

Rethinkin’…

AT&T is definitely on to something with this one. The internet provides us with a channel of infinite Knowledge, leaving those who have access to it with little to NO excuse to why they are not informed. No matter how hard you try to avoid it, technology plays a significant part in our day-to-day lives. AT&T, like LK is up to SOMETHING…and it’s not just witty commercials. As always, stay tuned. -LK

Secretly Genius.

Nike: The Secret Behind Nike Air from addwork on Vimeo.

The super creative geniuses at Nike have created another ridiculously interesting ad giving us the 'Secret' to the air found in most Nike shoes...incredible I must say. -LK

And the Chase continues...

So apart from the madness we've being experiencing lately as our company attempts to reach even higher levels we managed to sneak a few shots away from our "headquarter" offices of some new pieces for our upcoming photo-shoot being held in none other than the Cornhusker state of Nebraska...Yes an unlikely site for such a momentous occasion but as our true Lifers have come to figure..we do nothing close to the 'likely'..and even more exciting is the fact these pictorials will be used for our 'coming sooner than later' site currently in the last stages of production...and though we may have been temporary neglecting our domestic customers we must say it is all in good favor..LifE KiT as always, is certainly about progress...stay tuned & tuned in.  -LK

Willing to Take the Hits...

Life packs a serious punch and will knock you out cold if you let it. When life knocks us down we allow self-doubt and defeat to seep into our minds…causing us to lose sight of our Goals and Dreams. Momentarily weakened by the blow we allow the negative Energy of others to change who we are, but if you realize your worth nothing or anyone will prevent you from reaching your destiny.

Wise words from a decent man…. “Nobody is going to hit as hard as life. It aint about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep Moving Forward. How much you can take and keep Moving Forward…..That’s how Winning is done! …If you know what your Worth then go out and Get what your Worth, but you gotta be willing to take the hits!”(00:55) –LK

They are Us...

Evolving…often hindered by our insecurities…fueled by our need to belong…An internal battle wages. The Energies of the World tug on our souls…convincing us we need the superficial attention, affection, and confirmation of others to BE. But when you “Choose Growth,” you allow who YOU ARE to shine. All you need to BE is inside of you….Ms. Badu definitely blesses us with some very insightful words about “Group Think” at the end of the video (5:04).

This video also proves “You Can Do More with Less.” Enjoy. -LK

As Ms. Badu walks the street where JFK was assassinated, we remember, “Life is about Living for something worth Dying for. -LK

The Even Steven

This quote found its way from our randomly updated twitter page to a special place in the LifE KiT archives...one important aspect of our company is Energy, without this life would not be sustainable..Energy powers our cars, heats our homes, and provides us with a sense of normalcy...but these forms of Energy often cause us to overlook what we like to call 'Social Energy' or energy of the people around you..every person gives off a personal energy, whether it be good or bad...as the quote goes "You are only as good as the company you keep.." it is important that you surround yourself with individuals who match your energy levels and also fit your wavelength...Shouts to a beautiful NC sunset! -LK
